John Wann

John Wann was born about 1829 and was the son of Thomas Wann of Belfast and Rose Wann (nee Walsh)

At the age of about 18 John entered the service of the east India Company and went to India. By 1854 John Wann had settled in mid-United States - St Louis, Missouri. He and his family moved to St Paul, Minnesota in 1865. John Wann married Bertha Stettinious.

His descendants report that John Wann was a well-to-do business man in the growing city of St Paul, particularly in real estate development.

John Wann died in St Paul, Minnesota,1905.
